TERROIR

2024 vintage

This cuvée is a blend of grapes from the estate’s own vineyards and selected grape varieties grown by long-standing partner winegrowers (friends and family). The vines are mainly planted on clay-limestone slopes near the Roches de Solutré and Vergisson, as well as in Chaintré and Fuissé. This selection allows us to produce a fine, mineral wine with bright, refined aromas and a rich, solid structure.

At the level of

wine-making

After harvesting, the grapes are transported by gravity to the pneumatic presses. Pressing is a long and slow process to ensure gentle extraction of the juice and preserve its aromatic finesse. The must obtained is cooled and decanted. Fermentation takes place exclusively in barrels (20% in 600-liter demi-muids, less than 10% new wood). Malolactic fermentation is carried out or not depending on the vintage. The wine is then aged on fine lees until spring. From harvest to bottling, we limit the use of inputs such as SO2 as much as possible.

100% CHARDONNAY
