2022 vintage
This cuvée is a blend of two parcels with sandy-loam soils. One is Gamay planted in 1963 located in the commune of Charnay-les-Mâcon, and the other is Pinot Noir planted in 1968, located in the commune of Chevagny-les-Chevrières.
The grapes are harvested by hand and destemmed, followed by a ten-day fermentation period. The wine is then aged in stainless steel vats without the addition of SO2. A small amount is added during bottling to stabilize the wine.
GAMAY, PINOT NOIR
Its inimitable color is a blend of garnet and raspberry. This delicate combination of grape varieties creates a fruity aroma (morello cherry, redcurrant, pomegranate juice) with subtle tannins. On the palate, it is an explosion of freshness and delicious fruitiness. Its very juicy profile makes it a very pleasant wine, easy to drink and share.
