AOP Mâcon-Villages Tradition
The essence of the Mâconnais region in a glass
A blend of selected parcels grown on well-exposed limestone soils, this Mâcon-Villages embodies the appellation’s frank and fruity style. A generous Chardonnay with notes of peach and apricot, for simple, intense everyday enjoyment.
TERROIR
2024 vintage
This cuvée is a blend of several plots selected for their soil qualities (limestone, well-drained) and exposure (early-ripening south-east facing areas). This allows us to produce wines that are frank, fruity, lively, and fresh, in the pure spirit of Mâconnais wines.
At the level of
wine-making
After harvesting, the grapes are loaded by gravity into pneumatic presses. Pressing is slow and lengthy in order to gently extract the juice and thus preserve the aromatic finesse. The musts are then cooled and decanted. Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats. Depending on the vintage, malolactic fermentation may or may not be desired. Aging takes place on fine lees until spring. From harvest to bottling, we limit the use of additives such as SO2 as much as possible.
100% CHARDONNAY
For the
Tasting
All the spirit of a Chardonnay from the Mâconnais region shines through in this glass: generous floral aromas and delicious flavors of yellow fruits (peach and apricot). It offers the joy of simple, intense pleasures.
