Our vintages

Intemporelles

The wines in the “Intemporelles” range are wines that we love to drink and share. They provide immediate pleasure. We blend different parcels, playing with exposure and soil types. The wines are aged in barrels or stainless steel vats. We seek to express the character of our appellations, in order to create a range that reflects our vision of the typical style of Mâconnais wines. Great classics that you never tire of.

Our vintages

Parcellaires and Premier Crus

Our “Parcellaires” vintages are the expression of a specific place, a unique character. Indeed, since our very first vintages, we have worked to express the characteristics specific to each of our plots with the most remarkable organoleptic potential. In developing this range, we use all the techniques necessary to convey the beautiful complexity of these origins (hand harvesting, long aging in barrels, etc.).

Our wines

The rugged terrain of the vineyards is dominated by the limestone spurs of Solutré and Vergisson, remnants of prehistoric times, and by the hill of Mont de Pouilly, which is rounder but just as high, rising to a peak of 485 meters.

Our estate is nestled in the heart of the picturesque Mâconnais countryside, with our vineyards spread across the communes of Davayé, Prissé, Vergisson, Pierreclos, Charnay-lès-Mâcon, Chardonnay, Chevagny, and Hurigny.

We have 80.60 hectares of vines, including around 26.50 hectares classified as Saint-Véran (white wines), 25 hectares as Mâcon-Villages, Mâcon or Mâcon Chardonnay, Mâcon La Roche Vineuse (white wines), just under one hectare of Mâcon red and 7.50 hectares of Pouilly-Fuissé (white wines).

Our white wines are all made from the Chardonnay grape variety. They benefit from the geological richness of well-exposed clay-limestone soils and a fairly mild climate. The Deux Roches wines form a collection of vintages in the purest Mâconnais style: fresh, refined and pure, with hints of minerality. These wines are made from blends of plots, which we have been refining every year for 30 years.
